On August 12, the Office of the Investigative Police of Thua Thien-Hue Province announced the arrest of Le Trung Duc (DOB: 1994, residing in Dong Ba Ward, Hue City) for fraud, resulting in the appropriation of nearly VND 1.2 billion.

Duc deceived his friends by pretending to borrow money to repay his bank loans. As a result, he borrowed a total of nearly VND 1.2 billion from his friends and then appropriated the money through fraud.
