Dr. Nguyen Huu Tu (aged 47), holds a Ph.D. in Economics. Dr. Tu commenced his tenure at Vinachem in July 2018 as a Member of the Standing Committee and the Members’ Council (HĐTV).
Dr. Nguyen Huu Tu – Vinachem’s Vice President, assumes responsibility for the Group’s Executive Committee
Prior to his appointment as Vice President, Dr. Tu served as a Member of the HĐTV and Vice President of Vinachem. During this period, he was assigned to oversee the group’s restructuring process and was responsible for production, business operations, and market development.
At the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Fertilizer Association for the term 2024-2029, Dr. Tu was elected as Vice President of the Association.
Earlier in August, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed Decision No. 759/QD-TTg, appointing Mr. Phung Quang Hiep (aged 47), a Member of the HĐTV and General Director, as the Chairman of the Members’ Council of Vinachem.
Mr. Hiep, a Ph.D. holder in Economics, has previously held important positions in various Vinachem’s subsidiary units. He assumes the role of Chairman following the retirement of Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, the former Chairman, in June 2024, in accordance with regulations.
