In relation to this matter, the Trade Remedies Authority of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Investigating Authority) has sent a formal investigation questionnaire to foreign manufacturing/exporting companies that the Investigating Authority is aware of for their response. The deadline for responding to the investigation questionnaire is before 5:00 pm on September 18, 2024 (Hanoi time).
To ensure their rights and interests, the Investigating Authority requests all related foreign manufacturers/exporters to actively cooperate throughout the investigation process. The content of the response will serve as a basis for the Investigating Authority to consider limiting the scope of the investigation, if necessary.
In case the Investigating Authority does not receive a response from the foreign manufacturers/exporters by the deadline or if the provided information is inaccurate or incomplete, the Investigating Authority will base its conclusion on the available information in accordance with Article 75 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.
The provision of information and data in the process of responding to the Investigating Authority’s questionnaire and the right to access case information of related parties during the investigation process shall comply with the provisions of the law on information confidentiality under Article 11 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management on trade remedies.
Instructions on how to respond to the questionnaire, the form of submission, and the deadline for submission are detailed in the Enterprise Questionnaire. Therefore, the Investigating Authority requests enterprises to carefully read the instructions before submitting their responses by the deadline./.
