There have been recent incidents of Vingroup Group (VIC) being impersonated by individuals/organizations who created a website similar to the Vingroup ecosystem to deceive and defraud people.

Specifically, the scammers created “trade, service, medical, and technology development funds” to attract investors. They fabricated investment funds worth thousands of billions of VND with claimed progress of up to 72%. They invited people to invest a minimum of 30 million VND, promising a 1.32% profit after just 15 minutes. They even enticed investors by guaranteeing a 4.23% profit in 30 minutes for a minimum investment of 100 million VND.

Additionally, the group provided information about an industrial technology development fund (using the VinFast logo) with a scale of 6,656 billion VND and claimed progress of 89%. They promised a 5.56% profit in 30 minutes for a minimum investment of 300 million VND.

Similarly, the Hoa Phat Group has also been a victim of impersonation by individuals/organizations engaging in fraudulent activities. These scammers used various tactics, such as fake job postings and enticing investment opportunities, to deceive people.

The scammers replicated the logo, information, and brand images of the Hoa Phat Group to create fake websites like http://hoaphat.cc/mobile/index.html and https://hptrading.site/ to lure investors with attractive offers.

For instance, they advertised a “Domestic Steel Production Development Project” with a scale of 253 billion VND and claimed progress of 48%. They invited people to invest a minimum of 2 million VND, promising a 1.32% profit in just 15 minutes.

The scammers even forged the signature of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hoa Phat Group to create a fake announcement about “Regulating working hours and complying with the company’s rules and regulations during the project implementation phase.”

The Hoa Phat Group has clarified that they do not solicit investments for any of their projects. They have also issued multiple warnings on their website and through various communication channels. Additionally, they have taken legal steps by establishing a vi et and coordinating with relevant authorities to address this issue.
