Vietlott’s cost structure allocates 83%, or VND 2,248 billion, to player prizes, an increase of approximately VND 559 billion compared to the previous year. Numerous lucky players have been awarded prizes exceeding VND 300 billion and VND 200 billion each.

Similarly, the company’s selling expenses rose by 33% to VND 331 billion, primarily due to increased commission payouts to agents.

After deducting various expenses and taxes, Vietlott’s net profit for the first six months reached VND 169.5 billion, a 15.7% increase compared to the same period last year. This semi-annual profit is the highest in six years, surpassing the profit made during the pandemic years (2019-2021).

As of June 30, the company’s total assets increased by 17% to nearly VND 1,500 billion. Bank deposits account for 92% of this value.

According to its website, Vietlott is a business directly managed by the Ministry of Finance. The company operates computerized lottery games nationwide, offering advanced lottery products alongside traditional lottery formats. Additionally, Vietlott contributes to the normalization of prize-based entertainment activities, reducing the prevalence of unregulated lottery formats.

For 2024, Vietlott aims to achieve VND 6,800 billion in computerized lottery sales revenue, with a pre-tax profit target of VND 267 billion. The company plans to contribute VND 1,586 billion to the state budget in taxes and other payments.

After the first six months of operations, Vietlott has accomplished 60% of its revenue target, 79% of its profit goal, and 61% of its state budget contribution plan.
