Lindo, a member of Quang Linh Vlogs’ African team, has gained much attention for his fluent Vietnamese. He is also known for his hard-working nature and passion for cooking. Lindo and his wife recently opened a lunch spot in Angola, which has been receiving overwhelming support from the local community.

The restaurant primarily operates during lunchtime, and it’s been bustling with customers. Even though the food is prepared beforehand, taking orders and arranging dishes or packing boxes keep Lindo and his wife busy.

Lindo hands out takeout boxes to customers, reminding them to return the boxes.

A steady stream of customers dine in and take away.

Lindo’s restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including familiar Angolan cuisine and Vietnamese specialties such as garlic sautéed greens, beef stir-fried with celery, and sugarcane juice. The menu also features daily specials, like the recently introduced fried sweet potato cake, which has been a huge hit.

By regularly changing the menu and accommodating customer requests, Lindo has found a successful formula for his restaurant business in Angola. Even though it’s only open for a few hours during lunchtime, there’s a constant flow of customers, including those who buy takeout. Moreover, serving Vietnamese dishes is a “masterstroke,” as these unique and delicious offerings intrigue locals and keep them coming back for more.
