The electric vehicle manufacturer has announced that it is now taking orders for its VF DrgnFly e-bike in Vietnam, with a retail price of VND 29.69 million. Deliveries are expected to begin in September.

Following its launch in the US, Vietnam is the second market where VinFast has introduced the VF DrgnFly, completing its range of green mobility options including electric buses, cars, motorbikes, and e-bikes, along with a nationwide network of charging stations and service workshops.

The VF DrgnFly is a collaboration between VinFast and Danish designer Eskild Hansen. Its design takes inspiration from the image of a dragon in Vietnamese culture, featuring an extended handlebar, large wheels, and an ergonomic seat for an optimized riding experience. With its stylish design, the VF DrgnFly appeals to customers who value individuality, dynamism, and a passion for a green and free lifestyle.

The e-bike’s dimensions are 1,730 mm in length, 720 mm in width, and 1,056 mm in height, with a seat height of 795 mm. Weighing in at 32 kg, the VF DrgnFly is powered by a 250W rear hub motor and a single-speed gearbox with a torque sensor. Its lithium-ion battery offers a range of up to 75 km in full electric mode and 110 km in pedal-assist mode on a single charge. Riders can monitor battery status and other vital information via a monochrome display integrated into the handlebar.

As a smart e-bike, the VF DrgnFly connects to a mobile app, allowing users to change riding modes, track routes, and access special features remotely. Importantly, over-the-air (OTA) software updates ensure the bike remains optimized for a superior riding experience.

The VF DrgnFly offers three riding modes – Manual, Eco, and Sport – catering to diverse customer needs and preferences. It comes with a home charger, and its removable battery provides added convenience for charging on the go.

VinFast offers a two-year warranty on the bike and its battery. During the introductory period, customers who place a deposit between August 20 and September 15 will receive a complimentary accessory package worth VND 2.5 million.
