How do you assess the importance of human resources in the sustainable development of a company, especially for a company with a nearly 50-year history like DHG Pharma?

Established in 1974, DHG Pharma has now reached the 50-year milestone – a proud heritage and a great honor that I believe not many Vietnamese businesses have achieved. DHG Pharma’s pills, which were born 50 years ago under the U Minh melaleuca forest with a mission to serve the resistance, have now become high-quality pills distributed nationwide with a mission of “For a healthier and more beautiful life.”

Amid many changes, DHG Pharma has not only firmly developed but also made rapid progress, from a pharmaceutical enterprise to a leading pharmaceutical group in the country, reaching out to the international market. These are all results of the efforts to overcome difficulties, adapt flexibly, and pioneer of many generations of personnel who have worked and are working at DHG Pharma through various periods. That is also the reason why we always consider our staff as the most valuable asset that plays a key role in the sustainable development of DHG Pharma.

Improving human resource quality and streamlining the management apparatus have been and are the trends of large corporations worldwide, bringing many benefits to take the business further. First of all, decision-making, management, and strategy implementation of the Executive Board will ensure correctness, timeliness, and practicality. Labor productivity and work efficiency increase, leading to reduced operating and production costs. This effective budget will be invested in increasing welfare and training for officers and employees, and in developing projects for the future. DHG Pharma believes that a high-quality workforce will provide the company with creative “brains,” opening up breakthrough ideas so that each employee can be an inventor, bringing DHG Pharma to further development in the next 50 years.

My role is not just about making plans and policies but also about inspiring, supporting, and guiding each employee to maximize their potential. Before expecting my employees to follow, I must be the one who seriously implements them.

We have been trying to build a professional working environment, promoting a spirit of streamlining while maintaining DHG Pharma’s identity. As the General Director, I understand that my role is not only as the head of business strategy but, more importantly, as the bond and inspiration for employees to lead DHG Pharma to the open sea, making a strong transformation after 50 years, and continuing the journey of community healthcare.
