AI-powered laptops are poised to be a significant trend in the laptop market in the coming years. The most evident proof of this was at the world’s leading technology exhibition, Computex 2024, held in Taipei, Taiwan, in June, where AI was the main topic.

Laptop manufacturers have embraced this trend by introducing new products that integrate AI comprehensively, from hardware to software.

Pioneering the AI Laptop Revolution

In the Vietnamese market, Asus is leading the way by bringing AI-powered laptops closer to consumers. In early 2024, Asus introduced the Zenbook 14 OLED, the first laptop in Vietnam to feature AI integration. The highlight of this product is its Intel Core Ultra chip with powerful artificial intelligence capabilities.

In early August, the company once again surprised the market with the launch of the Vivobook S 15 (S5507). This laptop is the first Copilot+ PC-certified model from ASUS and the only one available in the Vietnamese market through official distribution channels.

The Vivobook S 15 features the Snapdragon X Elite processor with an integrated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, delivering exceptional AI processing capabilities of 45 TOPS.

The AI features on this laptop include Windows Studio Effects and the ASUS AiSense IR camera. The ability to detect the user’s presence through the webcam enables “Adaptive Blur” and “Adaptive Lock” functions, automatically locking the device when the user steps away and unlocking it upon their return.

Vivobook S 15 is also the first device to feature the exclusive AI application StoryCube, which intelligently manages digital assets.

Additionally, the Vivobook S15 incorporates advanced features such as enhanced noise and light removal in video calls during portrait mode. Cocreator assists users in transforming sketches into finished works, enhancing security, and improving the audiovisual experience.

Committed to Elevating the AI Experience

Beyond introducing new AI-powered laptops, Asus is dedicated to enhancing the user experience. They have established ASUS AI Innovation Hubs: comprehensive AI technology experience spaces in collaboration with major retail systems like FPT, CellphoneS, Phong Vu, and An Phat in select stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

These hubs showcase a diverse range of AI laptop models, including the “Everyday AI laptop” table, featuring laptops with AI chips and the Microsoft Copilot virtual assistant. This combination helps analyze the context and information on websites, work data, and the user’s activities on the laptop, boosting productivity. Models in this segment include the Zenbook Duo, Vivobook S 14/16 OLED, Zenbook S 13 OLED, and Zenbook 14 OLED.

The “Next Gent AI Laptop (Copilot+PC)” table displays the Vivobook S15, which boasts an NPU capable of an astonishing 45,000 billion operations per second (45 TOPS), advanced AI capabilities, and all-day battery life.

An Phat system also features the AI Innovation Hubs.

The “Advantage AI – non NPU” table presents AI-enhanced laptops without an NPU but with the option of the most powerful GPU, the GeForce RTX 4090, delivering processing power of 686,000 billion operations per second (686 TOPS). These products are designed for users who require exceptional AI performance for all tasks. Notable models in this experience zone include the ROG Strix SCAR 16/18, ROG Strix G16, TUF Gaming F15/A15.

This collaboration has allowed us to establish experience zones where customers can interact directly with our AI laptops.”

Mr. Nguyen Anh Van, Director of the CellphoneS system, shared, “Currently, Asus is one of the top-selling laptop brands in our system. Our collaboration with Asus has resulted in a spacious display area with diverse product ranges covering various segments, providing customers with a more comfortable shopping experience. We highly appreciate Asus’ AI-integrated laptops for delivering a truly impressive, smooth experience and long-lasting battery life,” added Mr. Van.
