According to initial information, starting this morning (August 22), approximately 1,000 workers at Alena Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd. simultaneously stopped working and gathered in the company premises to demand additional overtime pay from the employer.
Several workers shared that despite working two to four hours of overtime, the company did not provide meal allowances, which is supposed to be given for night shifts as per regulations.
