On August 24, the People’s Committee of Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province, requested the City Police, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and the People’s Committees of Dai Lao, Loc Chau, and Dam B’ri communes to coordinate in inspecting and monitoring the compliance of four businesses with the suspension of their mineral exploitation activities.

The four businesses that have been ordered to cease mineral exploitation are Tan Anh Tu Joint Stock Company, which holds Mining License No. 38/GP-UBND; Ngoc Lam Joint Stock Company, with License No. 09/GP-UBND; BPH Joint Stock Company, with License No. 22/GP-UBND; and Tan Viet Joint Stock Company, with License No. 26/GP-UBND.
The authorities of Bao Loc City have instructed the relevant units and People’s Committees of the communes to proactively coordinate and monitor these four businesses to ensure their compliance with the suspension of mineral exploitation activities as per their granted mining licenses.
If any of these businesses continue their exploitation activities during the suspension period, they will face resolute handling in accordance with regulations, or their cases will be reported to competent authorities for appropriate handling.
According to information, in June 2024, all four companies were administratively fined. Specifically, Tan Viet Joint Stock Company was fined nearly VND 143 million, BPH Joint Stock Company was fined nearly VND 142 million, Tan Anh Tu Joint Stock Company was fined over VND 90 million, and Ngoc Lam Joint Stock Company was fined more than VND 140 million.
In addition to the monetary penalties, all four businesses were also ordered to cease their mineral exploitation activities for a period of five months due to multiple violations in the fields of mineral resources and environmental protection.
