The National Assembly’s Portal has announced that the Secretary-General of the National Assembly and the Head of the National Assembly Office, Bui Van Cuong, has issued a document on the proposed agenda for the 8th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Based on the provisions of the Constitution and laws, the National Assembly Standing Committee has decided to convene the 8th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly to consider personnel work within the competence of the National Assembly.

The 8th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly will take place over one day, starting at 8 am on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the National Assembly House in Hanoi, the capital city.

On August 16, 2024, in Hanoi, the Party Central Committee held a meeting to consider and give opinions on personnel work.

At the meeting, the Party Central Committee decided to introduce personnel and provide opinions for the Politburo to introduce personnel to complete the leadership of a number of state agencies for the 2021-2026 term as prescribed.
