The Prime Imperative: Commanding Tasks for the Nation’s Deputies and Ministers

On the evening of August 26, immediately following the presentation of appointment decisions by Party General Secretary and State President To Lam to three Deputy Prime Ministers and two Ministers, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a congratulatory meeting and assigned tasks to the newly appointed officials.

Attending the meeting were Politburo members, Secretariat members of the Party Central Committee, Central Committee members, the Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, Deputy Prime Ministers, Government members, and leaders of ministries, sectors, and Government agencies.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Mr. Ho Duc Phoc, and Mr. Bui Thanh Son on their appointment as Deputy Prime Ministers, and Mr. Do Duc Duy and Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh on their appointments as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and Minister of Justice, respectively.

Emphasizing the great honor and heavy responsibility entrusted by the Party and State, the Prime Minister requested strict adherence to the directives of General Secretary and President To Lam conveyed during the presentation of the decision to appoint the aforementioned officials.

The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the newly appointed officials would leverage their strengths and work experience, unite with the Government, and uphold the fine traditions and valuable experience of previous Governments. He further emphasized the importance of promoting solidarity, unity, discipline, integrity, innovation, and decisive and effective action to successfully fulfill assigned tasks, particularly the goals and tasks set by the 13th National Party Congress. He concluded by stating that the officials should always devote themselves to the service of the country and the people, prioritizing the interests of the Party, nation, and people, and working towards the country’s prosperity and the people’s happiness and well-being.

On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also congratulated Mr. Tran Luu Quang on his appointment by the Politburo as the Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission. He acknowledged and highly appreciated Mr. Tran Luu Quang’s important contributions during his tenure as Deputy Prime Minister and expressed his hope that Mr. Tran Luu Quang would continue to coordinate and support the Government and its agencies in fulfilling their tasks.

On behalf of the newly appointed officials, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh expressed his gratitude for the great honor and emphasized the heavy responsibility before the Party, State, and people. He pledged to continuously strive, maintain unity and solidarity, and work diligently with the Government to successfully fulfill assigned tasks, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress.
