A 2009 Toyota iQ is up for sale in the used car market. According to the seller, this car is the Japanese market version and was imported as a whole unit to Vietnam. The car’s ODO is not disclosed. The seller states that the current selling price is VND 519 million.
At this price, consumers can consider alternatives such as the Kia Sonet Standard (VND 539 million) or the Hyundai Accent 2024 mid-range model (VND 529 million). One could even opt for a Mercedes-Benz C-Class or BMW 3-Series of the same production year, which would be significantly cheaper.
However, the Toyota iQ has the advantage of being compact. With an overall length of just under 3 meters, it is similar in size to the Wuling Mini EV and shorter than the VinFast VF 3. Thus, it is ideal for intra-city commuting.
The seller candidly shares that the Toyota iQ is not for everyone. It is only suitable for individuals who intend to use it for leisure city drives, school runs, or grocery shopping. The seller also points out that the iQ can be frustrating for family use due to its cramped interior, which doesn’t comfortably accommodate four adults.
The exterior of the car is in good condition, with a shiny paint finish and no signs of yellowing on the headlight lenses. Some modifications have been made, including Japanese Rays wheels, LED projector headlights, tire pressure sensors, and a rearview camera.
The interior of this Toyota iQ has been reupholstered with orange Hermes-style leather on the seats, steering wheel, and door cards. As a result, the quality remains good, with minimal creases on the seats and no signs of deterioration. The center infotainment screen has also been upgraded to an Android-based unit, enhancing the entertainment options.
This Toyota iQ for sale is powered by a 1.0L engine producing 68 horsepower and 91 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 14.7 seconds. A more powerful 1.3L engine option is also available for this compact car.
In terms of safety features, the Toyota iQ is equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (EBA), electronic stability control (ESP), and nine airbags to protect the occupants.
