According to the Binh Duong Province Department of Natural Resources and Environment, under the Scheme for Land Fund Exploitation to generate revenue for socio-economic development, from now until 2030, the province will consider 117 land plots with a total area of 22,200 ha for land-use rights auctions or investor selection through bidding.

The old headquarters of the City Party Committee and People’s Committee of Thu Dau Mot City is located in the center, fronting National Highway 13 and is expected to be put up for auction in 2024.
Specifically, in 2024, the following land plots will be auctioned: land plots of Sobexco Company in Ben Cat City, land plots of Cao su Dau Tieng One-Member Limited Liability Company in Ben Cat City and Dau Tieng District; the old headquarters land of the City Party Committee and People’s Committee of Thu Dau Mot City; land recovered from San Miguel Pure Foods Company (Vietnam) in Bau Bang District; land recovered from Tan Loi Import-Export Production and Business Joint Stock Company in Thu Dau Mot City; and two land plots recovered from Dong Hoa Production and Trading Limited Company and Khanh Hiep Limited Company in Tan Uyen City…
Of the eight land plots planned for auction in 2024, the land plot in An Thai, Phu Giao District, has been removed from the auction plan and handed over to the District People’s Committee for management and use according to local needs. The necessary procedures are being carried out, and the auction of these land plots is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Along with the auction of public land, Binh Duong will also conduct bidding to select investors for 75 land plots, including 75 new urban areas (combined with TOD points) and urban development areas, with a total area of 21,760 ha. The revenue generated from the land auctions will be invested by the province to serve its socio-economic development, especially the construction of transportation infrastructure.
