CSC stock has witnessed significant volatility recently

This is the second time in 2024 that Ms. Dung has registered to sell CSC shares. In the previous instance, she intended to offload 500,000 CSC shares between July 24 and August 22, 2024, but only managed to sell 300,000 shares due to unfavorable market conditions.

Additionally, in 2023, Ms. Dung had registered to sell CSC shares on two separate occasions, with a target of selling 1 million shares each time, but was unable to complete the transactions in full.

Apart from her holdings in CSC, as of June 30, 2024, Ms. Dung also owned shares in other companies within the APEC group, including nearly 8.3 million API shares (9.82% stake), approximately 1.7 million APS shares (2.02% stake), and over 5.9 million IDJ shares at the end of 2023 (3.42% stake).

Ms. Dung is the wife of Mr. Nguyen Do Lang, who served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CSC from 2014 until the end of his term in 2024.

The 2024 Annual General Meeting of CSC was held in April 2024, and a new board of directors was elected to replace the previous one whose term had ended. Notably, the list included Ms. Nguyen Do Hoang Lan (born in 2001) – the daughter of Ms. Dung and Mr. Lang.

In late June 2023, Mr. Lang and Ms. Dung, along with three others, were arrested and detained in a criminal case of “stock market manipulation” involving the APEC group. Following this incident, the APEC group companies underwent a leadership change.
