The District 7 – Nha Be Tax Department has sent a document to the business registration office, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Investment regarding an issue related to AISVN School.
Accordingly, the District 7 – Nha Be Tax Department stated that American International School Vietnam Joint Stock Company (investor of AISVN School) owes more than VND 100 billion in taxes. The tax authority has applied several enforcement measures such as deducting their bank accounts, suspending the use of invoices, and temporarily banning the exit of the leader, but to no avail.
The District 7 – Nha Be Tax Department proposed to revoke the business registration certificate of American International School Vietnam Joint Stock Company.
Previously, AISVN School was suspended for 12 months, from July 1 due to failing to meet teaching requirements. However, during the suspension period, the school still carried out some activities in preparation for the new school year.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, affirmed that AISVN School does not yet meet the conditions for operation. The department requested parents to transfer their children to other schools, and assured that despite financial difficulties or procedural obstacles, the public school system would create favorable conditions for receiving these students.
Currently, according to reports from schools receiving students from AISVN and information on the online school transfer page, more than 300 students have completed school transfer procedures.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this afternoon (August 28), the department will organize a session to guide transfer procedures for AISVN students. Specifically, the primary school level will be guided to transfer at Trang Tan Khuong Primary School (Nha Be District). For the secondary and high school levels, the guidance session will take place at Long Thoi High School (Nha Be District). The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requested AISVN School to fully inform parents and students about the transfer guidance session organized by the department to ensure the rights and benefits of the students. In addition, parents can proactively register to participate in the school transfer guidance session at the link http://bit.ly/thamdu_huongdan_chuyentruong.
