Fuel Prices Drop: RON 95 Nears 21,000 VND per Liter

Today's (August 29) domestic gasoline price adjustment saw a decrease of 90 to 210 VND per liter.

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have just announced the retail fuel prices starting from 2:30 pm on August 29th.

Accordingly, the price of RON 92 gasoline was reduced by VND 90 per liter to VND 20,330 per liter, and the price of RON 95 gasoline was reduced by VND 210 per liter to VND 21,100 per liter. Thus, since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 17 times and decreased 17 times.

Similarly, the price of diesel oil was reduced by VND 300 per liter, with the selling price at VND 18,470 per liter; while kerosene decreased by VND 80 per liter to VND 19,060 per liter, and the price of mazut was VND 15,560 per kg.

In this adjustment, the Ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance did not use the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil products.

In the latest adjustment period (August 22nd), the price of RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND 460 per liter to VND 20,420 per liter, and RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND 540 per liter to VND 21,310 per liter. The price of diesel oil was also reduced by VND 460 per liter, with the selling price at VND 18,770 per liter.

From 3:00 PM on February 15th (which is the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline has increased by 711 dong/liter, while RON 95 gasoline has increased by 657 dong/liter.

This nationality has to buy gasoline that is nearly 7 times more expensive than Vietnam, with the highest price of 160,000 dong per liter.

Starting from March 1st, the price of gasoline in Cuba has officially increased by 500%, making it the country with the highest gasoline prices in the world.
