As Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, it’s become a tradition for people to flock to Dong Phuong (Haiphong) to buy mooncakes. According to some customers, in recent days, the number of people lining up to buy mooncakes remains high, despite the brand also selling online.

In recent years, the sight of people queuing up to buy Dong Phuong mooncakes has become a familiar one. However, recently, the brand has also been selling its mooncakes on various social media platforms and e-commerce sites. The brand also accepts online orders so that customers don’t have to go through the hassle of lining up.
Nevertheless, perhaps due to high demand or a tradition of buying mooncakes in person, long lines of customers still form in front of Dong Phuong bakery in Haiphong every year.

It is known that recently, on the official Facebook page of Dong Phuong bakery, the brand announced that it would stop accepting online orders from August 30 due to the large number of orders. They will try to arrange delivery for orders placed before that date. This also shows the popularity of this traditional mooncake brand from Haiphong.
