The Vietnam Forum: The Moment witnessed a massive turnout with a diverse audience ranging from different ages and genders, both domestically and internationally. The forum has left many profound imprints, solidifying its pioneering role in establishing a robust foundation for sustainable and holistic development in the future.
Over two days, August 16 and 17, the forum triumphantly took place with the attendance of over 15,000 live audiences, surpassing expectations. Notably, all the discussion sessions were live-streamed on the official fan pages of Vietnam Forum: The Moment and Thai Ha Books. The event captivated the attention of nearly 60,000 online viewers throughout, with 15,000 views during a single discussion session. These impressive figures not only reflect the public’s profound interest but also attest to the forum’s immense appeal and influence.

The program featured 21 diverse discussion sessions revolving around three core themes: Culture, Connection, and Creativity. These sessions offered insightful perspectives, comprehensive analyses, and creative solutions, fostering numerous collaboration and exchange opportunities across various fields. They also contributed to raising awareness about the importance of cultural preservation and development, as well as creativity in the context of international integration.
Diplomat Ton Nu Thi Ninh, the forum’s initiator, remarked, “After 50 years of reconstruction and advancement, the moment has come for the people of Vietnam and Vietnamese people worldwide to assert their standing in the community of nations. Together, we shall join hands and hearts to contribute to the common endeavors of humanity for peace, sustainable development, and happiness.”
Sangeeta Kaur, a Grammy-winning singer of Vietnamese origin, delivered an emotional performance during the opening session on August 16. Through her rendition of the late musician Van Cao’s “Dan Chim Viet” (“Flock of Vietnamese Birds”), formerly known as “Ben Xuan,” she conveyed a message of love for the homeland and the aspirations of the Vietnamese nation. Her performance, in the style of chamber music, further accentuated the beauty of Vietnam and enriched the forum’s content.
The forum not only provided opportunities to meet and hear from experts and prominent figures in various fields but also served as an open space for young people to freely express their views and ideas on current and future matters of concern.

The Gala Dinner on August 17 at Capella Gallery, attended by over 150 distinguished guests, exuded elegance and contributed to the event’s success. Mrs. Ton Nu Thi Ninh expressed her sincere gratitude and emphasized that the forum not only reviewed achievements but also served as a springboard for the future.
