The Bach Dang 2 Bridge, connecting Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces, is set to open to traffic this National Day holiday after nearly three years of construction.

Workers are seen blowing dust off the bridge, installing handrails, lighting systems, drainage systems, and the remaining approach road.

Nearly three years in the making, the Bach Dang 2 Bridge project has reached approximately 99% completion. Despite challenges with land clearance and the COVID-19 pandemic, contractors, engineers, and workers have strived to complete the project ahead of schedule.

The Bach Dang 2 Bridge project, with a total investment of nearly VND 500 billion, commenced construction in late 2021. The entire project spans nearly 3 kilometers, including a 400-meter-long bridge and a 17-meter-wide four-lane road, along with approach roads on both ends.

Workers are in the final stages of construction to ensure the bridge opens to traffic on the National Day holiday.

The remaining work includes installing lighting poles and handrails to complete the project as scheduled.

The contractor is currently working on the approach road to the bridge.

Upon its completion, the bridge will play a crucial role in connecting provinces and cities in the Southeast region, particularly the key economic zone in the South.
