A unique Suzuki Jimny is up for sale in the used car market. According to the listing, the car was produced in 2024 and has only 500km on the odometer. The asking price is 1.399 billion VND. This is one of the few Suzuki Jimny models available in the used car market that has been modified with an exterior upgrade.
Compared to the registered price of a new car with Ho Chi Minh City license plates (approximately 888 million VND), the Suzuki Jimny in this article is being sold for almost one and a half times the original price.
Returning to the Suzuki Jimny featured in this article, the seller claims that the exterior has been enhanced with numerous details from the Wald tuning package, costing approximately 500 million VND. From the photos, we can observe new components such as the front bumper, lighting, grille, hood scoop, rear bumper, roof spoiler, and wheels. The overall appearance of this Jimny is a stark contrast to the standard model.
The exterior of the car still looks brand new. The black paint shines brilliantly, as expected from a vehicle with only 500km on the odometer. Some notable exterior features include LED headlights with automatic on/off functionality, as well as approach, departure, and breakover angles of 37 degrees, 28 degrees, and 49 degrees, respectively.
The Suzuki Jimny’s dimensions are 3,625mm in length, 1,645mm in width, and 1,720mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,250mm. Interestingly, the Jimny is even shorter than some A-segment SUVs like the Raize and Sonet.
The interior of this Suzuki Jimny doesn’t deviate significantly from the standard model. The previous owner replaced the fabric seats with leather upholstery and added floor mats. The amenities remain unchanged, including a 9-inch touchscreen display with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as automatic climate control. The instrument cluster combines analog gauges with a small monochrome screen. The seats, steering wheel, and ignition key remain mechanically operated.
In terms of performance, the Suzuki Jimny is equipped with a 1.5L engine that delivers 101 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. The car features a 2WD/4WD drive system with 2H, 4H, and 4L modes. The suspension setup consists of a 3-link rigid axle. The vehicle’s body-on-frame construction, similar to some 7-seater SUVs and pickup trucks, lends itself more to off-road adventures than on-road comfort.
To enhance its off-road capabilities, the Japanese automaker has equipped the Jimny with an LSD (limited-slip differential) brake simulation system, which aids in slippery conditions or when traction is lost while navigating challenging terrain.
