This week brings cheer to investors, with 21 companies announcing dividend payouts. Of these, 20 businesses will be disbursing cash dividends, ranging from 1.6% to a substantial 250%. Additionally, one company stands out with a unique combined dividend offering.

Cảng Cát Lái JSC (CLL) finalizes its shareholder list on September 4th, offering a cash dividend of 26% (VND 2,600 per share). Payments are expected to be made on September 16th, 2024. With 34 million shares in circulation, CLL anticipates a total payout of over VND 88 billion.
Notably, CLL’s two largest shareholders, Tân Cảng Sài Gòn JSC and Dịch Vụ Công Ích Thanh Niên Xung Phong JSC, hold 25.6% and 22.1% of the company’s shares, respectively. These state-owned enterprises, also CLL’s founding shareholders, stand to gain nearly VND 23 billion and over VND 19 billion from this dividend payout.
On September 5th, Ben Thanh TSC JSC (BTT) will finalize its shareholder list to distribute 2023 dividends at a rate of 33.5%, translating to VND 3,350 per share. BTT plans a two-phase payout, with the first phase on September 17th, 2024, at a rate of 20% (VND 2,000 per share), and the second phase on November 6th, 2024, at 13.5% (VND 1,350 per share).
With 13.5 million shares, the company expects to disburse a total of over VND 45 billion to its shareholders, fulfilling the plan approved at the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. This cash dividend is the highest BTT has offered since its listing on the stock exchange.
LAS JSC announces a dividend payout of 10% on September 5th, with a record date of September 4th, 2024. Shareholders can expect to receive VND 1,000 per share on September 25th, 2024. This payout will require the company to distribute nearly VND 113 billion. The profit distribution plan was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, with a total dividend payout of 10% for 2023. LAS will utilize undistributed post-tax profits as of December 31st, 2023, as per the audited 2023 financial statements.
As of June 30th, 2024, Vietnam Chemical Group (Vinachem) directly holds 69.82% of LAS’s capital. This dividend payout will bring Vinachem almost VND 79 billion in returns.
Vinacafé Biên Hòa JSC (VCF) sets September 9th as the record date for its impressive 250% cash dividend for 2023, amounting to VND 25,000 per share. Payments will be made on September 20th. With nearly 26.6 million shares in circulation, Vinacafé Biên Hòa will distribute nearly VND 650 billion in dividends. Masan Beverage, holding over 26.3 million shares (98.79% ownership), will receive more than VND 642 billion.
Vinacafé Biên Hòa has a reputation for consistently rewarding its shareholders with substantial cash dividends. In recent years, the company has maintained a dividend payout range of 240% to 250%, and in 2018, they surprised investors with an extraordinary 660% cash dividend.
