Honda has recently launched the new Civic in Thailand, and the pricing has just been announced. The Civic EL+ VTEC Turbo is priced at 1.039 million baht, which is approximately 756 million VND. The Civic e:HEV EL+ hybrid version is priced at 1.099 million baht, or 800 million VND, while the Civic e:HEV RS hybrid version comes in at 1.239 million baht, equivalent to 902 million VND.
It’s interesting to note that compared to previous models, the e:HEV hybrid versions have seen a 2.6% decrease in price, while the VTEC Turbo petrol version has increased by 2.8%. This can be attributed to the Thai government’s tax incentives for locally-produced hybrid vehicles.

The facelifted Civic features subtle changes to its front end, including a redesigned grille that is no longer connected to the headlights. The front air intakes have also been revised, and the RS model boasts new 18-inch, 6-spoke black alloy wheels, while the standard model retains the 17-inch wheels.
The interior of the Civic remains largely unchanged, except for the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which now runs software developed by Google and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is paired with a 12-speaker Bose sound system. Additionally, the car features USB-C charging ports and Honda Connect. Notably, all three variants are equipped with rear air vents.
In terms of performance, the Thai-spec Honda Civic 2024 continues to offer a choice between a conventional petrol engine and a hybrid powertrain. The 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine produces 176 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the hybrid model combines a 2.0-liter petrol engine that generates 141 horsepower and 189 Nm of torque with an electric motor that delivers 181 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque.

All three variants of the Honda Civic are equipped with the Honda Sensing safety suite, which includes: Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF), Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW), Adaptive Headlights (AHB), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Front Vehicle Start Notification (LDN).
In Vietnam, Honda has also started taking orders for the new Civic since August 9. The local model will be offered with a hybrid powertrain and a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, with pricing yet to be announced.
