The Partnership Auction Company has just announced a temporary suspension of its land auction in Thanh Oai district for 57 plots in Dam, Muc Xa village, Cao Duong commune (batch 1) on September 8th. As a result, registered participants will be refunded their application fees within two working days from the date of this announcement.

This decision was made following the People’s Committee of Thanh Oai district’s Official Dispatch No. 2421 on temporarily halting the auction of 114 land plots in Cao Duong commune.

Initially, in September 2024, Thanh Oai district planned to sell 114 land plots in Dam, Muc Xa village, Cao Duong commune, in two auctions (with 57 plots each). The first batch, scheduled for auction on September 8, features plots ranging from over 74 to nearly 135 square meters, all with a starting price of 8.8 million VND per square meter.

However, the People’s Committee of Thanh Oai district has requested the auction companies to temporarily halt these auctions and refund application fees to participants. They will announce the rescheduled auctions after thoroughly reviewing the legal, conditional, and regulatory compliance aspects.

Previously, on August 10, Thanh Oai district successfully auctioned 68 land plots in Ngo Ba, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao ward (Thanh Oai, Hanoi), ranging from 60 to 85 square meters, with starting prices from 8.6 million VND/sq m to 12.5 million VND/sq m. The auction attracted 4,600 applications, but only 4,201 met the qualifications of 1,545 individuals.

Notably, at the end of the auction, the highest winning bid for a corner lot was nearly VND 100.5 million/sq m, eight times the starting price. The regular lots were won with bids ranging from VND 63-80 million/sq m, five to 6.4 times the starting price.
