This milestone attests to the reliability, versatility, and performance of the helicopters, and we hope the fleet will continue to support our operations for many years to come,” said Major General Kiều Đặng Hùng, Director-General of Vietnam Helicopter Corporation.
Mr. Olivier Etchevers, Vice President of the Airbus Helicopters Super Puma Program, stated, “It is fantastic to see how the Super Puma fleet, particularly the H225, has been instrumental to VNH’s success. This milestone reinforces the importance of these helicopters to the company’s operations and reflects the dedication to conducting safe missions, especially in demanding environments. We are honored by VNH’s trust in our products and look forward to seeing more H225s serving in the energy sector.”
VNH became Vietnam’s first helicopter operator in the energy sector in 1986 with a Puma helicopter. Today, VNH is one of the largest helicopter service providers in Southeast Asia, operating a fleet that includes the H225, AS332, and H155 models.
VNH’s H225 helicopters primarily serve offshore transportation and emergency medical services.
As the newest member of the Super Puma family, the H225 is renowned for its exceptional performance in challenging flight conditions, as well as its superior range and payload capabilities. Equipped with advanced avionics and the renowned automatic flight control system, the H225 offers enhanced durability, speed, and adaptability to suit various missions, particularly in the energy industry.
With a capacity of up to 19 passengers in its air-conditioned cabin, the H225 can handle heavy lifts and has an excellent operational range, enabling more distant offshore exploration and production activities. Its versatility allows for rapid reconfiguration to perform search and rescue missions over water.
