Following Mr. Thanh’s retirement, ACV has not yet announced who will take on the role of Chairman of the Board. Currently, the ACV Board comprises six members: Mr. Vu The Tiet, Dao Viet Dung, Le Van Khien, Nguyen Ngoc Quy, and two women, Le Thi Dieu Thuy and Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong.
Mr. Thanh, born in 1963, holds a Master’s degree in State Management. In mid-2017, he was transferred and appointed by the Ministry of Transport as Chairman of ACV, while also representing the state’s capital in the enterprise. At that time, Mr. Thanh served as the Director of Vietnam Aviation.

In the first six months, ACV recorded consolidated revenue of more than VND 11,200 billion, up nearly 16% over the same period last year. The company’s after-tax profit increased by nearly 45%, to over VND 4,240 billion, due to the strong recovery of international visitors and flights to Vietnam.
Specifically, in the first half of this year, about 54.7 million passengers passed through ACV’s airports, including nearly 20.3 million foreign visitors, an increase of 40% over the same period. The number of take-offs and landings of international flights also increased by more than 27%, to over 126,700 flights.
