A Powerhouse Alliance: Thai Son and Saigon Thanh Dat’s Visionary Residential Project in Quang Tri Province

As per the Quang Tri Province's Department of Planning and Investment, the consortium of Saigon Thanh Dat Agricultural Investment JSC and Thai Son Traffic Work Construction JSC is the sole investor registered to develop the Urban Housing and Social Housing Project in the Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park.

The Nam Dong Ha Industrial Urban Residential Area, which includes social housing, spans 24.85 hectares and is located in Dong Luong Ward, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province.

With a total investment of over VND 1,563 billion, the project entails a realization cost of more than VND 1,478 billion and compensation and resettlement support costing over VND 85 billion.

This project involves the construction of 305 adjacent land lots, including 122 three-story units with exterior finishes, 81 land lots for villas, including 28 two-story units with exterior finishes, and 3 blocks of social housing. The 5-story social housing blocks comprise a total of 1,241 units, with Block C1 hosting approximately 363 units, Block C2 accommodating around 494 units, and Block C3 featuring roughly 384 units. Additionally, a 2-story school building is part of the plan.

The projected timeline for project implementation is from 2024 to 2027, including a 31-month construction period. The project has a 50-year lifespan.

According to our sources, Licogi 13 Thanh Dat Agriculture Investment Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as Licogi13 Thanh Dat on the company’s website) was established in 2010 and is headquartered in Danang. Mr. Tran Xuan Dinh serves as the company’s CEO and legal representative. As of July 2023, the chartered capital stood at VND 240 billion. In May, the company merged with Saigon Thanh Dat Limited Liability Company. The company currently operates in the field of construction, including civil, industrial, residential, and urban infrastructure in industrial parks, as well as transportation, hydraulic, and hydropower structures.

the Vice Chairman of the Building Materials Association and Chairman of the Central – Highlands Building Materials Association

Established in 2004 and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Son Traffic Work Construction Joint Stock Company is currently led by Mr. Nguyen Thinh Son, Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Nguyen Tat Hung, General Director. Thai Son has established a prominent presence in the fields of infrastructure, transportation, and real estate investment and construction.

Thai Son, in collaboration with Thien Phu Construction and Electromechanics Joint Stock Company, is the investor in the An Phu Tan Industrial Cluster in Tra Vinh Province. Thai Son, together with Thanh Binh – BCA Co., Ltd., formed a joint venture that won the bid for the Son Ca Kindergarten project in Ward 5, Tra Vinh City.

In Bac Ninh, Thai Son and Tat Thang Co., Ltd. formed a joint venture as investors in the project to build the cultural, sports, and entertainment center of Tu Son Town in the form of a build-transfer (BT) contract.

Thai Son was also the contractor for the project to dredge and reinforce the Lò Heo – Ông Sỏi canal in Thanh Loc Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2020, a consortium comprising Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company, Vinaconex, and Thai Son was one of the two investors that passed the pre-qualification round for the North-South Expressway project in the Nghi Son – Dien Chau section, spanning 49.3 km, with a total investment of nearly VND 13,340 billion.
