On August 28, the Hanoi Department of Construction announced a list of housing projects that met the conditions for future real estate formation to be put up for business in the area.
Accordingly, from the beginning of the year to August 26, 2024, Hanoi had nine projects with a total of 5,266 residential units and 35 commercial service units for sale.

The project with the largest supply was the Z35.1, Z35M.2, Z35M.1, Z34M.1, and U35.1 apartment buildings, located on land lots C3-CH01, C3-CH02, C3-CH03, C3-CX01, and C3-CX02 of the Tay Mo-Dai Mo-Vinhomes Park new urban area. The project is developed by Anh Sao Trading and Business Development Co., Ltd., offering 2,374 high-rise apartments and 35 commercial service units, accounting for 45% of the total number of units for sale. The total investment for this project is over VND 7 trillion. The expected completion and operation date is the fourth quarter of 2025.
Also located in the Tay Mo-Dai Mo-Vinhomes Park new urban area, another project, the L39M.1 and L39.1 apartment buildings on land lot F4-CH02, is developed by TCO Real Estate Consulting and Trading Joint Stock Company, with 1,332 apartments for sale.
The Sunshine Crystal River project, developed by Wonderland Real Estate Joint Stock Company, is permitted to sell 955 high-rise apartments and 60 low-rise units. This project combines commercial services and low-rise housing.

In addition, the list includes a project to build commercial townhouses, named “Pho Xanh,” developed by Construction Installation Corporation No. 1 – Petrolimex (UPCoM: PCC), offering 134 low-rise housing units.
The Housing and Urban Development Corporation is the only unit with two projects permitted for sale. One of them is the CT-05 and CT-06 social housing project in the new urban area of Thanh Lam-Dai Thinh 2, Me Linh district, Hanoi, providing 214 apartments. The other is the LKV-21, LKV-22A, and LKV-22B low-rise housing project in the HUD-Son Tay urban area, offering 84 low-rise units.

Recently, the Hanoi People’s Committee approved the update of the list of projects for the construction of houses and urban areas in the city’s housing development plans for the period of 2021-2025 (third phase).
Accordingly, the projects for the construction of commercial housing and urban areas include 36 projects that have been approved for investment with 10 projects currently being implemented and expected to be completed between 2021 and 2025, providing more than 1,000 housing units. There are also 26 projects expected to be completed after 2025, supplying more than 9,800 units. In addition, 85 projects are in the process of preparing investment procedures, with a total of nearly 49,000 housing units.
Regarding the list of projects for the construction of social housing, there are six projects, providing 8,344 housing units.
