The Ninh Binh People’s Committee has recently approved the task of master planning a 1/2000 scale eco-tourism and experiential resort complex in Quang Lac commune (southwest of National Highway 12B).

The planning scope covers Quang Lac commune, Nho Quan district, with a total area of approximately 475.8 hectares. The projected population is around 20,000 people.

The project is bordered by National Highway 12B to the east, Dong Bai and Dong Trung villages to the west, An Ngai village to the south, and Dong Bai village to the north.

In terms of nature, this will be a provincial-level eco-tourism and resort area that combines natural landscapes, amusement and entertainment areas, lakeside tourism services, and cultural tourism. It will feature synchronized infrastructure and services to meet the residential, resort, and cultural tourism needs of domestic and international residents and visitors.

The tourism area will include functional areas such as an eco-tourism, cultural, historical, and resort area with a cultural square; mountain and waterfall-based amenities and resorts; outdoor experiential services, camping, and natural lakeside activities; event organization, operations center, and auxiliary services; exhibition and introduction of traditional craft products; experiential nature tourism, boat rides in the village, farm stays, and more.

The planning is expected to be completed within nine months from the approval of this task.
