The Billionaire’s Venture: A Revolutionary Business Model – Franchise Charging Stations with a Fixed Revenue Share of VND 750 per kWh of Electricity.

The V-Green franchise charging station model is deployed through a “business and people collaboration” approach, promising a new and highly profitable business opportunity for all landowners nationwide.

Similar to the official V-Green-invested charging stations, the V-Green franchise charging stations will serve VinFast electric car and motorbike owners nationwide (expected to reach 300,000 cars and 1 million motorbikes by 2025).

V-Green commits to sharing a fixed revenue of 750 VND for every 1 kWh of charged electricity with its partners for a minimum of 10 years.

V-Green also provides full technology support for operation management, financial management, maintenance, marketing to attract customers to the charging station, and compensation for partners if V-Green ceases operations before the 10-year commitment ends.

To join the V-Green network, partners only need to invest in additional equipment and infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of the charging station. Apart from the revenue-sharing from V-Green, partners can also increase their income by offering value-added services to electric vehicle owners, such as car care, shopping, and entertainment during the charging wait time.

Parking lots, gas stations, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and hotels will also have the opportunity to expand their customer base by investing in V-Green franchise charging stations.

Currently, V-Green owns the largest network of charging stations for electric cars and motorbikes in Vietnam, with a planned 150,000 charging ports in all 63 provinces. With a commitment to investing 10,000 billion VND in the next two years to build, upgrade, and perfect the system, V-Green is actively expanding the coverage of VinFast electric vehicle charging stations nationwide.

In parallel with the official charging stations directly invested by V-Green, the deployment of the franchise charging station model will mobilize more social resources from partners across the country, helping to accelerate the expansion of the charging network in Vietnam. This model is also expected to be implemented by V-Green in international markets in the future.

V-Green is a company established by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong in March 2024, in which Mr. Vuong owns 90% of the shares. V-Green will operate independently as VinFast’s global partner in developing a charging network. The company will be responsible for investing in the entire electric vehicle infrastructure, thereby reducing financial pressure and deployment for VinFast so that the automaker can focus on market expansion and sustainable development.

Rearing in Revenue: The Ministry’s Mandate?

The Vietnamese government has made significant strides in reforming state capital investment management. One notable change is the decision to no longer manage second-tier enterprises and reduce the number of enterprises requiring the Prime Minister’s approval for leadership appointments. These moves signify a shift towards greater autonomy for businesses and a streamlined decision-making process. However, a point of contention remains: how should state-owned enterprises distribute profits when the state does not hold a substantial amount of capital in these businesses? This question sparks an important debate, highlighting the need to balance state involvement and enterprise independence.
