According to Resolution No. 24, the total investment for the project has increased to VND 5,892 billion, comprising VND 1,967 billion in central government budget funds and VND 3,924 billion in provincial budget funds.
Compared to the previously issued Resolution No. 38/NQ-HĐND, the new resolution only adjusts the local budget upwards by VND 950 billion. The increase in total investment is attributed to higher-than-expected site clearance costs.

The Suoi Cai dredging and reinforcement project is currently under construction
The Suoi Cai dredging and reinforcement project spans almost 19 kilometers, starting from its intersection with DT.742 road and ending at the Dong Nai River, passing through Tan Uyen City.
The project’s key components include: constructing a channel reinforced with steel concrete slabs; reinforcing the channel bed with a 30cm thick carpet; and embanking the 17-meter-wide channel, encompassing a 7.5-meter-wide road and a 5-meter-wide sidewalk.
The project aims to ensure efficient drainage of stormwater and treated wastewater from the Suoi Cai watershed, contribute to environmental improvement and urban beautification, and facilitate local transportation development.

The project’s completion will address flooding issues in Tan Uyen City
The project is under the management of the Project Management Board of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Binh Duong province.
Construction has commenced on two construction packages, with progress currently at around 25%. The project is expected to be completed by 2027.
