Fuel Prices Drop Below 21,000 VND per Liter – The Lowest Since the Start of the Year

Today's price adjustment (September 5th) sees domestic gasoline prices drop by 280 to 360 VND per liter.

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have just announced the adjustment of gasoline and oil prices from 3:00 pm on September 5th.

Accordingly, the two ministries decided to decrease the price of RON 92 gasoline by VND 360 per liter to VND 19,970 per liter, and that of RON 95 by VND 280 per liter to VND 20,820 per liter. Thus, since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 17 times and decreased 18 times.

Similarly, the price of diesel oil was reduced by VND 380 per liter, with the selling price at VND 18,090 per liter; while that of kerosene decreased by VND 340 per liter to VND 18,720 per liter, and mazut was priced at VND 15,150 per kg.

In this adjustment, the two ministries did not use the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil products.

In the latest adjustment on August 29, the price of RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND 90 per liter to VND 20,330 per liter, and that of RON 95 by VND 210 per liter to VND 21,100 per liter. The price of diesel oil was also reduced by VND 300 per liter, with the selling price at VND 18,470 per liter.
