![]() Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the period of 2024 – 2028

Attending the event, from the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union were Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen – Permanent Vice Minister, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Ha Anh Duc – Director of the Department of Examination and Treatment, and Mr. Nguyen Tuong Son – Director of the Department of Finance and Planning. From the Trade Union of the Ministry of National Defense was Senior Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duc – Member of the Presidium of the General Confederation of Labor, Head of the Defense Trade Union. From the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union was Ms. Pham Thanh Binh – Member of the Executive Committee of the General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union, together with representatives of the departments of the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union and leaders of Bach Mai Hospital, Viet Duc Hospital, and Hanoi Healthcare Trade Union.
Representing MB at the signing ceremony were Mr. Pham Nhu Anh – Member of the Board of Directors and General Director, Mr. Tran Minh Dat – Deputy General Director, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc – Member of the Executive Board and Chairwoman of the Trade Union, along with representatives from the bank’s headquarter departments.
Through the agreement between MB and the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union, trade union members and healthcare workers are entitled to benefits such as reduced lending interest rates by 1% to 2% depending on credit products and loans of up to 30 years; additional interest rates for short-term deposits ranging from 0.2% to 0.9% depending on the period; a 20% discount on car insurance purchases; and a waiver of the VND 220,000 annual fee for credit cards for individuals and organizations. Trade unions under the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union also enjoy preferential deposit interest rates and insurance participation. In return, MB Group’s officials and trade union members receive the best healthcare advice and treatment at central and local medical facilities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Permanent Vice Minister of Health, appreciated the proactive role of the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union and the supportive cooperation of MB. “The collaboration between the two units is a vivid testament to their joint efforts to bring about well-deserved, long-term benefits for trade union members and healthcare workers. This marks a new chapter in their partnership, aiming to maximize the strengths of each unit for the practical advantage of their respective union members,” said the ministry leader.

Sharing his thoughts on the cooperation with the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union, Mr. Pham Nhu Anh, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of MB, said: “MB aims to implement specific and practical programs to support healthcare trade union members. Furthermore, we will leverage our technological strengths to contribute to administrative reforms and streamline hospital payment procedures, providing added convenience for both hospital staff and patients.”
At the event, the Ministry of Health expressed its appreciation and gratitude to MB for its companionship in various social welfare activities and its support of hundreds of billions of VND during the COVID-19 pandemic for vaccine purchases and treatment. According to the Permanent Vice Minister of Health, one of MB’s strengths in the healthcare sector is its successful implementation of dynamic QR code payment solutions integrated into medical examination records. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Health’s Plan 1190/KH-BYT dated September 10, 2022, on promoting non-cash payments for medical examination and treatment services.

The cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union and MB is a notable activity in the lead-up to the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2025) and the 30th anniversary of MB’s establishment (November 4, 1994 – November 4, 2024). On this occasion, MB also presented the Vietnam Healthcare Trade Union with the “Blouse Protection Program” worth VND 100 million.
