Binh Dinh Province has identified and prioritized five critical road projects totaling 21km in length, which are crucial for the region’s connectivity. These include QL19B (5km), QL19C (6km), DT 629 (3km), DT634 (5km), and a 2km road connecting My Trinh Commune, Phu My District.

The local authorities have requested the Ministry of Transport to consider adjustments and additions to interchange nodes, connecting roads, and compensation roads to maximize the benefits of the North-South Expressway once it becomes operational.
Specifically, for connecting routes (national and provincial roads) to the expressway interchanges, Binh Dinh Province has proposed to the Ministry of Transport to invest in extending, upgrading, and widening QL19C by an additional 4km, with an estimated cost of VND 120 billion (from the interchange to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park) and to extend, upgrade, and widen DT629 by an additional 5km, with an estimated cost of VND 100 billion to connect to Tay Tinh Road (DT638).
The province has also requested the Ministry of Transport to approve the construction of two additional interchange nodes and two overpasses or underpasses in Hoai Nhon District to connect to National Highway 1, Tam Quan Fish Port, and the industrial clusters of Hoai Chau, Hoai Phu, Hoai Hai, Tuong Son, Tam Quan, Hoai Huong, La Vuong Highlands, the western area of the district, and An Lao District.
The authorities have directed the investor (Project Management Unit 85) and related units to urgently inspect and review the construction of additional compensation roads and roadside paths to serve the local population in Hoai An and Tuy Phuoc districts, who have been affected during the construction of the Hoai Nhon-Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon-Chi Thanh sections of the North-South Expressway.
This includes the construction of a 2km section of the DT630 road passing through the center of Hoai An district (in Tang Bat Ho township) and a 5.5km district road from Tang Bat Ho township to DT638; as well as the construction of additional roadside paths along both sides of the connecting road at the interchange at Km10+600 in Tuy Phuoc district, connecting to existing rural roads to meet the travel and agricultural production needs of the local population.
The North-South Expressway, spanning 118km through Binh Dinh Province, comprises three sub-projects: Quang Ngai-Hoai Nhon (27.7km), Hoai Nhon-Quy Nhon (70.1km), and Quy Nhon-Chi Thanh (21km).
