On September 10, at the Long An International Port, Dong Tam Group (Vietnam) and CS Wind Corporation (South Korea) signed a memorandum of understanding to lease 50 hectares of land in the Dong Nam A Long An Industrial Park, which is part of the Long An International Port project cluster in Can Giuoc District, Long An Province.

CS Wind Group will use the leased land to construct a factory and assembly yard for offshore and onshore wind tower equipment, offshore wind power products such as monopiles, transition pieces, and other related components. The products will be supplied to the global market with a large-scale production capacity.

The total investment capital for this project is approximately 200 million USD.

The factory is expected to supply ultra-long and ultra-heavy equipment ranging from 500 to 4,000 tons per item. Initially, a large portion of the equipment and accessories will be imported and exported through the Long An International Port, with an estimated volume of 150,000 to 200,000 tons per year.

This will be the factory with the largest wind power equipment production capacity in the world at the time of project establishment.

According to Mr. Vo Quoc Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dongtam Group, this event is a testament to the professional working spirit and dedicated efforts of the leadership of Dong Tam Group and the investors throughout the past time.

This is also a significant event for Dong Tam Group, marking an important milestone in the economic development of Can Giuoc District, Long An Province.

Mr. Huynh Van Son, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Long An Province, highly appreciated the professionalism and efforts of the leadership of Dong Tam Group in attracting a worthy investor to Long An to build a large-scale factory in the Dong Nam A Long An Industrial Park, located in the Long An International Port project cluster.

The fact that CS Wind chose Long An as their investment destination further proves that the investment environment of Long An Province has become increasingly reliable, open, and favorable.

The provincial leaders expect that the operation of this factory will create a strong impression in the region, thereby contributing to promoting the image of Long An Province to international friends, attracting more potential investors, and affirming Long An’s commitment to providing a truly transparent and open investment environment, with the philosophy that “Long An needs enterprises, not the other way around.”
