The Tech Stock That Got a Major Boost From Prop Trading in Friday’s Session

The market was shaken up on the last trading day of the week, with the VN-Index surprising everyone by turning positive in the latter half of the session. Buying pressure returned, pushing the main index up by 5.75 points to close at 1,273.96. Foreign investors net bought on the market with a value of VND253 billion.

Similarly, securities companies’ proprietary trading also net bought with a value of VND296 billion on the three exchanges.

On the HoSE, securities companies’ proprietary trading net bought VND293 billion, including net buying of VND309 billion on the matching channel but net selling of VND16 billion on the negotiated channel.

Specifically, the securities companies with the highest net buying were FPT and MWG, with values of VND61 billion and VND41 billion, respectively. In addition, stocks such as VHM, MBB, and TCB were also net bought in the session.

On the other hand, the stocks with the highest net selling by securities companies were FUEVFVND and KDH, with values of VND15 billion and VND5 billion, respectively. Other stocks that were net sold in today’s session included VRE, VNM, LPB, and TLG…

On the HNX, securities companies’ proprietary trading net bought nearly VND3 billion, mainly in PVS, which was net bought for VND2 billion. VCS and NDN were also slightly net bought.

On the UPCoM, securities companies’ proprietary trading slightly net sold, with QTP being net sold for nearly VND500 million. In contrast, BSR was slightly net bought.
