Mr. Vu Kien Cuong, Head of Ha Long Bay Management Board, said that on September 8 and 9, the unit urgently mobilized its forces to repair the damage and inspect the facilities. Starting today (September 10), some sightseeing spots in Ha Long Bay have met the conditions to receive and serve visitors, including Route 1 (Thien Cung Cave and Dau Go Cave) and Route 2 (Ti Top Island, Sung Sot Cave, Luon Cave, and Trinh Nu Cave).

Grand Pioneers Cruise resumes operations from today (September 10).
According to some travel agencies operating in Ha Long Bay, they have resumed tours on September 10. Grand Pioneers Cruises welcomed about 40 tourists to Ha Long Bay for a 2-day-1-night itinerary, including visits to Sung Sot Cave, Luon Cave, and other attractions. The guests were mainly international tourists from various markets such as Israel, Germany, India, and Taiwan.
“Grand Pioneers Cruise meets all maritime safety standards and is equipped with modern facilities. The preparations to serve tourists have been carefully and thoughtfully completed. We will bring even more fulfilling experiences to visitors in Ha Long Bay, one of the world’s natural wonders,” said a representative of Grand Pioneers Cruise.

Similarly, Athena Cruise Group, which operates Athena Cruise and Signature Cruise, also resumed operations on September 10. Athena Cruise welcomed a group of about 40 guests, mainly international tourists, on Route 2 in Ha Long Bay. The company representative shared that they had proactively moved their cruise ships to safe locations in advance, so the resumption of operations did not take much time.
Today, Ambassador Cruises also restarted its overnight program in Ha Long Bay (Ambassador Cruise I) and the Ha Long Bay day tour itinerary (8 hours) with Ambassador Cruise II.

A representative of Ambassador Cruises shared, “Typhoon Yagi caused some damage to our ships in Ha Long and Lan Ha. However, the entire Ambassador Cruises team has worked hard to repair, upgrade, and return our cruise ships to serve tourists in a short time. We have overcome these challenges and improved to bring our guests enhanced experiences. Every little detail on the ships has been meticulously refined to ensure they look beautiful and perfect.”
Previously, due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi, many sightseeing spots in Ha Long Bay were affected and could not receive visitors. The management board is mobilizing all resources to urgently address the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi, and they will announce the resumption of other sightseeing spots as soon as possible.
