Tasco Auto has just announced its distribution of the Zeekr brand in Vietnam, marking the introduction of this electric vehicle brand from the same parent company as Volvo and Lynk & Co.
According to reliable sources, the first model to be introduced in the country will be the Zeekr 009, which is expected to arrive by the end of this year as an imported vehicle before local assembly is considered in the future.

The Zeekr 009 is a large MPV/minivan from a Chinese automaker. It is built on the same platform as the Volvo EM90, with overall dimensions of 5,217 x 2,024 x 1,812 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 3,205 mm, slightly larger than the Carnival.

The vehicle sports a boxy, sleek design with flat sides, roof, and rear. It boasts a low drag coefficient of 0.27Cd. The front features a distinctive faux grille illuminated by 154 LED lights.

The interior is packed with modern technology and digitalization. The standard Zeekr 009 features a 6-seat layout with a 2-2-2 configuration, while the 009 Grand offers a more luxurious rear cabin with just two large seats and additional amenities.
Performance-wise, the Zeekr 009 is powered by an electric motor that delivers 536 and 778 horsepower, respectively. The automaker claims a range of 702 to 822 kilometers on a single charge, depending on the variant.
