The Vietbank Thuân An Transaction Office was established and put into operation with the approval of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on network development. Accordingly, in 2024, Vietbank will add 14 transaction offices in 12 provinces to its network; increasing the total number of transaction offices to 132, present in 26 provinces and cities nationwide.

Bình Dương is one of the most dynamic localities in the country in attracting investment and developing the economy, focusing mainly on industrial production, commercial, and service activities. Thuân An City is home to many industrial parks, industrial clusters, and urban areas – it is the economic center and the most populous city in Bình Dương Province.

The choice of Thuân An as the first location to open a transaction office in the chain of 14 new ones demonstrates Vietbank’s determination to approach and accompany potential corporate and individual customers to provide suitable and timely financial services. This will contribute to creating momentum and stimulating the development of key economic sectors, promoting economic growth in Bình Dương province in particular and creating a spillover effect across the country in general.

The headquarters of Vietbank Thuân An was selected based on ensuring the fastest customer access, to promptly and conveniently meet the transaction needs of customers in the area. This includes ensuring smooth transportation and connectivity, a solid and modern infrastructure, and accommodating future scale and potential development.

The opening of the Thuân An Transaction Office continues to affirm Vietbank’s efforts in the journey of innovation and comprehensive development according to the long-term development strategy with a vision to become a leading reputable retail bank in Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the representative of the Board of Directors, CEO of Vietbank, Ms. Tran Tuan Anh, shared, “The headquarters of Vietbank Thuân An was selected based on ensuring the fastest customer access, to promptly and conveniently meet the diverse transaction needs of customers in the area. The Board of Directors of Vietbank believes in entrusting the Board of Directors and all employees of Vietbank Thuân An with the responsibility to take advantage of new advantages, conditions, and opportunities to contribute to enhancing the reputation and brand of Vietbank in the hearts of customers in Thuân An City and Bình Dương Province.”

Also on September 11, on its official information channels, Vietbank shared a double joy – in addition to the opening ceremony in Thuân An. Accordingly, the Board of Directors has resolved to approve the investment in the Customer Service Center headquarters combined with a transaction point in Ho Chi Minh City – in line with the strategy to develop and upgrade the quality of Vietbank services to a 5-star standard.

Commenting on this decision, a representative of the Vietbank Investment Committee shared, “In October 2023, the Board of Directors decided to change the structure and establish the Customer Service Center (CSC) instead of the previous Customer Service Department. After nearly a year of operation, the unit has made many practical improvements and upgraded the quality of services at direct transaction points as well as on multi-channel online platforms. The resolution to invest in the official headquarters is not only a timely decision but also a long-term commitment by Vietbank to consistently enhance service quality.”

To mark this special occasion, Vietbank also released a short film about its customer journey over the years. After 9 hours of release, the film garnered over 1 million views across online platforms. The content of the film was built based on real stories shared by many generations of Vietbankers. Especially the story told by Ms. Ngo Tran Doan Trinh, Deputy CEO and Director of Ho Chi Minh City Region 01.

Thus, after 2 months from the decision to invest in the Training Center headquarters, Vietbank continues to invest in the Customer Service Center headquarters. This lays the foundation for improvements and changes in professional banking activities and operations, along with network development according to the long-term strategy approved by the Board of Directors of Vietbank and the competent state agency.

Not only actively developing business activities, but Vietbank also frequently participates in community programs and events. On September 10, responding to the call of the Fatherland Front Committee and the State Bank of Vietnam, Vietbank representatives attended the “Ceremony to Support People Affected by Storm No.3” and donated VND 200 million on behalf of the entire system to the people of the affected provinces. Previously, Vietbank was also honored at the PRIVATE 100 Awards – an award for the top 100 private enterprises with the largest tax contribution in Vietnam in 2024.
