… knowing that their contributions have reached the right people and will benefit those affected by the storms and floods.
Mr. Cao Xuan Thao shared that in response to the call made by the VCFO’s Executive Board, numerous agencies, businesses, organizations, groups, and individuals from Vietnam and abroad have proactively reached out to offer support to the storm-affected communities through the VCFO. What’s truly heartwarming is that, over the past few days, millions of individuals have taken the initiative to donate to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee’s bank account. While some contributed 50,000 VND, others gave 100,000 VND, and there were also those who donated up to hundreds of millions of VND. Some chose to remain anonymous, quietly offering their support. These acts of kindness are truly commendable.
The VCFO is highly focused on organizing the receipt of these supportive funds and promptly processing the transfer of the donations to the Relief Committees in the affected regions to facilitate relief efforts.
The support from organizations and individuals has been incredibly selfless and sincere, reflecting the spirit of “comradeship and national solidarity.” The VCFO has initially disclosed the bank statement of the Vietcombank account, covering the period from September 1st to September 10th, 2024, through various media platforms. This step ensures transparency and reassures the public that their contributions are reaching the intended recipients.
Moving forward, the VCFO will continue to uphold complete transparency by disclosing all information regarding the organizations and individuals who have transferred donations to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee’s bank account. This allows everyone to participate in monitoring and supervising the relief fund usage.
