On September 13, 2024, representatives of the organizing committee for the charity concert “Doc Mong Mo” (“Steep Dreams”), featuring renowned Vietnamese artists Duy Manh and Tuan Hung, visited the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to donate 3 billion VND. This amount was pre-donated by the concert to support those affected by the recent Typhoon Number 3.

The highly anticipated concert, initiated by Tuan Hung and agreed upon by Duy Manh, is set to take place on September 21 in Tam Dao, Vinh Phuc. The organizing team then reached out to the two artists to plan and draft the contract.

On the evening of September 13, the organizers of “Doc Mong Mo” also released the ticket prices along with a seating chart. The cheapest ticket (standing) was priced at 500,000 VND, while other categories included “People We Know” (1 million VND), “Shaking Hands” (1.5 million VND), “Friends” (2 million VND), “Relatives” (2.5 million VND), “Family” (3 million VND), and the most expensive, “Love,” at 3.5 million VND.

Initially, the concert was planned to be held at the “Doc Mong Mo” address in Tam Dao, but due to the overwhelming demand, the organizers decided to move to a larger venue—the National Sports Training Center in Tam Dao. According to the organizers, the ticket categories remain unchanged, but there will be more tickets available, and the performance stage will be bigger.

Notably, a hospitality service quickly capitalized on the hype surrounding the concert by offering accommodation packages aligned with the ticket categories, ranging from 1.4 to 2.3 million VND per person.

Even before the event, fans have expressed their support and praised the meaningful initiative by the “Doc Mong Mo” concert organizers and the artists involved.

As per the wishes of the organizing committee and the artists, proceeds from ticket sales will be prioritized for a project to rebuild and reconstruct a village in Lao Cai, which was severely affected by natural disasters.
