Previously, some transport businesses had proposed that Ho Chi Minh City have an appropriate fee reduction and exemption plan because the toll road is quite short (less than 3 km), and the toll collection on this exclusive route will easily lead to a “fee-on-fee” situation, causing difficulties for goods transport through Tan Cang – Phu Huu Port and SP-ITC Port.
To address this difficulty, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport has proposed reducing infrastructure fees at seaports for goods passing through the Phu Huu BOT Station.
