The People’s Committee of Dong Nai province has issued an administrative fine of VND 300 million to An Hung Phat Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company.

An Hung Phat Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company is headquartered in Phuoc Tan ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province. Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of the company.

The fine was imposed due to the lack of a completion confirmation certificate for the environmental protection works of the Binh Duong Ward Residential Area project in Long Binh Tan ward, Bien Hoa city, which has been operational since April 2020.

However, the decision to fine did not include the suspension of the operation of the waste source without an environmental license.

This is because An Hung Phat Company has submitted an application for an environmental license, which is being processed by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai province. The company is also in the process of completing the requirements for the license as directed by the department.

Additionally, during the period of operation of the Binh Duong Ward Residential Area until now, the local authorities have not received any complaints from residents about environmental pollution caused by the residential area.

The People’s Committee of Dong Nai province requires the legal representative of the company to comply with the fine within 10 days. In case of non-compliance, the competent authorities will enforce the fine through coercive measures.
