According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, as of 5:00 pm on September 14th, the amount of donations received through the Central Relief Committee’s account for those affected by the 3rd storm reached 1,001 billion VND.
The Central Relief Committee will continue to review and allocate these funds as soon as possible to the affected regions.
At the same time, the Central Relief Committee will keep updating and publicly disclosing the list of organizations and individuals who have provided support on various media platforms.
Also on this day, while receiving support from organizations and individuals, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, shared that the empathy and sharing towards the people in the storm and flood-affected areas will forever remain in the hearts of the Vietnamese people.
According to Ms. Anh, many students studying in the country or abroad have saved their spending money to send to the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support the flood-affected people.
“All contributions, big or small, are invaluable. They go beyond material value and deeply reflect the spiritual value, embodying the spirit of Vietnam and the solidarity and sharing of the people across the country,” said Ms. Anh.
Ms. Anh expressed that the empathy and kindness of the units, organizations, and individuals will continue to spread, giving the people affected by the 3rd storm more faith and motivation to quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
“The Central Relief Committee will utilize the funds effectively and efficiently, continuing to allocate them in a timely, open, and transparent manner, in accordance with the law, to ensure that the received funds reach the people in the provinces heavily affected by the storm and floods as soon as possible,” affirmed Ms. Anh.
