On September 14th, the Provincial Party Committee of Gia Lai organized a conference to announce the Central Committee’s decision on personnel work. The conference was chaired by Mr. Ho Van Nien, Member of the Central Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.
Attending the conference on behalf of the Central delegates was Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phong, Deputy Head of the Localities II Department, Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
At the conference, Mr. Huynh Quang Thai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Organization Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, announced Decision No. 957/QD-TTg by the Prime Minister, approving the election result of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Gia Lai province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Rah Lan Chung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Gia Lai.
At the same time, he announced Decision No. 1355-QDNS/TW dated September 4, 2024, by the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the approval of the participation in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Gia Lai province for the term 2020-2025 for Mr. Tran Minh Son, Provincial Committee member and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province.
Mr. Ho Van Nien, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Chau Ngoc Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, handed over the decision of the Secretariat to approve the participation of Mr. Tran Minh Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the term 2020-2025.
At the same time, they congratulated Mr. Rah Lan Chung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Tran Minh Son, Member of the Standing Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province.
Secretary Ho Van Nien congratulated Mr. Rah Lan Chung and Mr. Tran Minh Son on receiving the approval decisions from the Prime Minister and the Secretariat.
At the same time, Secretary Ho Van Nien hoped that Mr. Tran Minh Son would continue to promote a sense of responsibility and practical experience in implementing the tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Party delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the coming time, especially in directing the implementation of the resolutions of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the term 2024-2029.
In his speech, Mr. Tran Minh Son expressed his thanks to the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam for approving his participation in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Gia Lai province for the term 2020-2025. He also thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for their trust and belief in assigning him this important task. He promised to promote the achieved results, continue to study and strive to effectively implement the tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province.

Reviewing 373 Cases of “Unusually Low” Land Sales Post-Auction in Gia Lai
From 2019 to the present, 373 land lots in Gia Lai province have shown signs of irregularities, with a total value of 144 billion VND in auction wins, but later declared as transferred for only 46 billion VND. Notably, a land lot with an auction value of 4.2 billion VND was sold for just 50 million VND, raising suspicions of foul play.
