Over 100 supercars from around the world gathered in Vietnam for the Gumball 3000 supercar journey. On September 15, the convoy embarked on a trip through five countries: Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Prior to the departure on September 14, the supercars were displayed publicly, attracting thousands of admirers.
One of the standout vehicles was the McLaren 765LT Spider, owned by Singaporean businesswoman Amanda Toh Steckler. With its sleek design and striking color, this McLaren has been enhanced by the company’s Special Operations division, MSO.
The vibrant green Lamborghini Aventador will be driven by none other than Maximillion Cooper, the founder of Gumball 3000, and it will lead the pack during this journey.
The 2024 Gumball 3000 supercar journey attracted over 100 supercars of various makes and models, although there were no participants from Vietnam.
According to sources, the fee to join this renowned supercar journey is a staggering 100,000 USD per two-person team (approximately 2.5 billion VND).
Gumball 3000 this year is not just a parade of expensive cars but also a gathering of enthusiasts who share a passion for speed, technology, and art.
Gumball 3000 was held on Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, attracting thousands of participants due to the presence of over 100 supercars from across the globe.
Since the afternoon of September 14, car enthusiasts and youngsters have flocked to the area to catch a glimpse and take photos of these extraordinary vehicles.
Some individuals seized the opportunity to take photos next to these billion-dollar supercars.
Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, Chairman of Trung Nguyen Coffee Group, also showcased 16 supercars at the event, including Ferraris and a pair of Ford GTs worth over 120 billion VND. The coffee entrepreneur had to pay a substantial fee to display his impressive collection.
