Vinpearl JSC (a subsidiary of Vingroup) and Sun Group JSC’s Phu Quoc Sun Joint Stock Company (a member of Sun Group Corporation) both reported a surge in profits in the first half of 2024.
Specifically, according to the announcement on HNX, Vinpearl JSC achieved VND 2,600 billion in post-tax profits in the first six months of 2024, 3.8 times higher than the same period last year. Meanwhile, Sun World Phu Quoc reported a profit of over VND 825 billion, turning around from a loss in the previous year.

Sun World Phu Quoc Joint Stock Company is the direct operator and manager of the investment project for the cable car and the sea entertainment complex on Hon Thom (Phu Quoc), also known as Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park. The project commenced operations in 2018, featuring the world’s longest three-wire cable car, spanning nearly 7,900 meters.
In late December 2023, the company introduced several entertainment facilities and products in Sunset Town, including the iconic Kissing Bridge, a night market by the sea, and the nightly show, Kiss of the Sea, all of which attracted a significant number of visitors.

Vinpearl, on the other hand, is Vietnam’s leading tourism and resort brand, boasting a portfolio of five-star and international-standard hotels and beach villas.
