Nissan Almera is offering huge discounts at dealerships across Vietnam, with savings of up to $5,700 for the 2023 model.

Nissan Almera: Deep Discounts at Dealerships

A Nissan dealership in Central Vietnam is offering massive discounts on the 2023 Nissan Almera. Specifically, the dealership is offering a $5,700 cash discount on the Almera CVT High, reducing the price from $25,500 to $20,800.

The 2023 Nissan Almera is available in limited colors, with only the orange color remaining in stock at dealerships.

For the CVT Standard version, the dealership is offering a 100% waiver on registration fees, equivalent to a cash savings of $4,600. However, the dealership only has the 2024 model in stock for this version.

Dealerships mostly have the 2024 model of the Nissan Almera CVT in stock.

According to dealership staff, there are very few 2023 Almera CVT High models left in stock, and only the orange color is available. In contrast, the CVT Standard version is still available in various colors.

The discounts offered on the Nissan Almera vary by region. For example, at a dealership in Ha Tinh, the standard version is discounted by $3,600, bringing the price down to $20,000. However, the 2023 model is no longer available.

This could be a clearance sale by dealerships to make way for the upcoming facelifted Almera, which has been spotted at an emissions testing center in Hanoi. Nissan has not yet revealed any information about the new model.

What’s the Nissan Almera All About?

The Nissan Almera was first introduced in Vietnam in August 2021 and received an upgrade in June 2022 to better cater to the local market. The interior was enhanced with leather seats, and the air conditioning system was improved with a heating function and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, the exterior mirrors were upgraded with automatic folding, and the center rearview mirror was given a frameless design.

The Nissan Almera offers a range of advanced safety features, including a 360-degree camera, moving object detection, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Under the hood, the Almera is powered by a turbocharged 1.0L 3-cylinder engine that meets Euro 5 emissions standards. It produces 98.6 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 152 Nm of torque between 2,400 and 4,000 rpm. The CVT versions come with a continuously variable transmission, three driving modes, and an Idling Stop function that temporarily turns off the engine when the car is stationary.

In terms of dimensions, the Almera measures 4,495 mm in length, 1,740 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm.

Inside, the Almera features an 8-inch touchscreen display and a 7-inch color instrument cluster. Other notable features include a 6-speaker audio system, automatic climate control, and push-button start. However, cruise control, a common feature in this segment, is notably absent from the Almera.

The Nissan Almera offers a host of advanced safety features not commonly found in its competitors.

In addition to standard safety features such as ABS, EBD, and BA, the Almera boasts an impressive array of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). These include a 360-degree camera, moving object detection, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert, setting it apart from its competitors in terms of safety.

The New Nissan Almera: Coming Soon to Vietnam?

Previously, the 2024 Nissan Almera facelift was spotted at the Hanoi Emissions Testing Center, suggesting that three versions with different equipment levels will be available in Vietnam.

Three 2024 Nissan Almera models were spotted in Hanoi, Vietnam, featuring different equipment levels.

The gray model in the photo appears to be the highest trim level, as it is equipped with LED lights with a similar design to the current model. It also features two-tone alloy wheels and fog lights.

The red model, on the other hand, has the same alloy wheels as the current model but lacks fog lights and uses LED lights, suggesting it is the mid-range trim.

The three Nissan Almera models feature different exterior equipment levels, with the white model expected to be the standard version.

Finally, the white model is believed to be the standard version, as it has 15-inch alloy wheels similar to the red model but lacks fog lights and uses halogen lights, resulting in a different headlight design.

If these speculations are accurate, the 2024 Nissan Almera will offer improved equipment across the range. For example, the standard model will feature alloy wheels instead of steel wheels, and the mid-range model will be upgraded to LED lights, similar to the highest trim level (previously only available with halogen lights).

In May 2024, local dealerships started taking deposits for the 2024 Nissan Almera, with deliveries expected in September. The car will continue to be imported from Thailand.
