On September 30, Viettel Construction Joint Stock Company (Viettel Construction – code CTR) will finalize its list of shareholders eligible for a 2023 cash dividend payout at a rate of 27.2% (2,720 VND per share). The expected payout date is October 18, 2024.
With over 114 million shares circulating, Viettel Construction will distribute more than VND 310 billion in this dividend payout. The Vietnam Military Industrial and Telecom Group (Viettel), the parent company with a 65.66% stake in Viettel Construction, will receive over VND 204 billion from this dividend.
Additionally, Mr. Doan Hong Viet, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Digital World Joint Stock Company (Digiworld, code DGW), and related organizations currently hold 5.08% of CTR shares, expecting to earn approximately VND 16 billion from this dividend.
In terms of business results, July 2024 revenue reached VND 1,126 billion, an 11% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Pre-tax profit was VND 57.7 billion, a slight 1% improvement from the previous year.
For the first seven months of the year, Viettel Construction is estimated to have achieved VND 6,777 billion in revenue and VND 363.3 billion in pre-tax profit, an increase of 11% and 4%, respectively, compared to the same period in 2023. With these results, the company has accomplished 54% of its annual revenue and profit targets.
In the market, CTR shares have climbed to 124,600 VND per share, marking a 39% increase since the beginning of the year. Its market capitalization now stands at approximately VND 14,300 billion.
